Friday Fives: Summer Reads

Hey all, sorry for the belated post. I was traveling/sleeping all day so couldn't get this post up in time. This question, courtesy of Paper Hangover has always been a tricky one for me. I read a lot of YA and most of my friends, who are college students don't read those kinds of books. Anyway, here's my list of must read books this summer.

1. Divergent by Veronica Roth
- This is one of the best books I've read all year. I love how it's so action focused and less love focussed. The characters are engaging, interesting, and constantly changing. A great read!

2. Matched by Allie Condie
- This book is really amazing fluff. It's a dystopian, sure, but mostly it's a love story and I thoroughly enjoyed it. Very easy and quick read. I'm looking forward to the sequel!

3. Between Shades of Grey by Ruta Sepetys
- This isn't light, but it's one of the best historicals I've read in a long long time. It's an amazing story of survival and loss under Stalin's rule.

4. Looking for Alaska by John Green
- I haven't read it yeat, but after reading Will Grayson, Will Grayson and starting Paper Towns I don't think I can resist!

5. Anna and the French Kiss
- I have heard so much about this book it's incredible that I haven't read it already! Must start NOW
