Today's Friday Fives from Paper Hangover is a doozy:
Who are your five favorite literary sidekicks??
1. Hermione Granger - Harry Potter series by JK Rowling
Hermione is smart, resourceful, and loyal, but most importantly she's not afraid of giving you a little tough love.
2. Dick Grayson - Batman and Nightwing Series
Dick Grayson, the original Robin, is the person who immediately comes to mind when we say the word "sidekick." Not only was he a troubled, but ultimately sweet, earnest kid, Dick Grayson was a hard-core hero in his own right and eventually became Nightwing, the star of his own comic series.
3. Tiny - Will Grayson, Will Grayson by John Green and David Levithan
Tiny is selfish, dramatic, and absurd. But, it's just that particular combination that makes him so lovable! Plus, how else were we going to get that infamous nose-picking scene?
4. Glenn - The Walking Dead by Robert Kirkman and Tony Moore
Glenn is one of the most useful characters in the entire Walking Dead series. He's fast, funny, and always knows just the right nooks and crannies to help you avoid the zombie horde!
4. Riddle Border - I'll Be There by Holly Goldberg Sloan
Riddle is the adorable and strange little brother of our protagonist. His sheer force of will, his unbounded love, and his endearing weirdness place him firmly on this list.
Who are YOUR top five sidekicks?

If you're in the marked for a witty loyal and dedicated sidekick, then Short Round from Indiana Jones Temple of Doom is definitely your man.
