Exciting Life Updates: I am now an agent (intern)!

O hai blog! If you do not like exclamation points or joy, stop reading now.
If you were wondering how that reader report I wrote about last week turned out, wonder no longer! I have recently been accepted as the spring and fall (not summer because hopefully I shall be in New York) intern for the Super Cool and Awesome YA Literary Agency (hereafter known as SCAYALA)!

Send me your queries, your partials, your hungry authors looking for representation! I will now officially be the first line of defense/help when you query Super Awesome Agent at SCAYALA! Hopefully that means I will be able to talk a little bit more knowledgeably about the other side of the publishing agency, and give everyone some more information about what goes into the making of a great book.

I'm really excited! (p.s. Sorry about the lack of Science Sunday. midterms have been wreaking havoc on my life.)

    I would love to have you do a guest post on my site re: the interning things - perhaps a before-and after. What you expect/hope the job to be like, then what you find the job to be like. I'm sure there will be drawbacks you didn't anticipate, but also wonderful rewards. ~Warmly~
